Here are some of the tools I use pretty much on a day-to-day basis. This does not include tools that are common or otherwise expected.
- tofi: Opening a menu? Look cool and scary for free.
- waybar: Simple bar for Wayland.
- hyprland: A tiling window compositor that is not from the 18th century.
- zoxide: A cd command that keeps your hair intact.
- neovim: signature look of superiority.
- zathura: PDF viewer for those crippled by vim.
- arara: A macaw that compiles latex.
- latex: The only typesetting system.
- pandoc: A translator but for converting latex into plebeian formats.
- nixos: You only have to punch a wall once and then you can declaratively reproduce it forever.
- lazygit: "Yes I have extensive experience with Git."
- tmux: <C-b> life.
- wl-clipboard: Hmm… does <C-c> wor
- grim: When you want to take a family photo.
- slurp: But want to keep the weird uncle out of it.
- yazi: If a duck was your file manager.
- fd: A find program that you don't need to slap.
- ripgrep: Wait I am trying to find a joke.
- zsh: Mayonnaise. Can't live without it.
- fzf: What did I name it as again?
- bat: Cat with wings.
- mako: Knock knock. Your pants are on fire.
- ly: ncurses for logging in.
